Microsoft Kemps Creek Data Centre Campus is located at 769 Mamre Road in Kemps Creek, New South Wales, Australia, within the Mamre Road Precinct. The campus comprises multiple data center facilities, including SYD05, SYD06, and SYD07, with a total operational capacity of 190MW and a Gross Floor Area (GFA) of 60,943 square meters across a 14.43-hectare site.
The campus consists of two parallel two-storey data center structures, each more than 400 meters long and 21.31 meters high, collectively housing 60 purpose-built data halls. SYD05 and SYD06 are located within the first structure, while SYD07 occupies the second.
Power is supplied through a dedicated high-voltage electrical switchyard with a direct Endeavour Energy connection. The campus incorporates resilient backup infrastructure, including up to 250 tonnes of lithium-ion batteries and 62 emergency generators, supported by 63 on-site diesel storage tanks with a combined capacity of approximately 1,650 tonnes.
Cooling infrastructure includes direct evaporative cooling, 480 indoor air handling units (AHUs), and both air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, supporting reliable temperature management across the campus.
