Data Center San Juan

The Data Center San Juan, located in the Civic Center, has undergone a significant modernization. This upgrade ensures the Provincial Government's digital services meet current and future demands for the next five years, adhering to international standards.

Key technical improvements include an enhanced UPS system, upgraded fire suppression, and improved climate control for equipment, reducing operational costs. A Network Operations Center was established, and data cabling was reordered and optimized for high availability of servers.

Functionally, the data center now offers improved energy, cooling, and connectivity for government system servers, leading to greater stability in government processes and faster transaction speeds. It hosts servers for various ministries, the Judicial Branch, and essential public administration systems. The facility also provides network connectivity for approximately 6,000 users in the Civic Center and around 40 external government agencies, along with housing the network core, telephony equipment, and fiber optic trunks for various government services and external providers.
