VietinBank IDC Hòa Lạc, located on Road No. 7 in Hòa Lạc, Hà Nội, Vietnam, is a disaster recovery information center that officially commenced operations on December 15, 2008. With an investment of 1.5 million USD, the facility was designed and constructed to international standards, serving as a backup for both data and Vietinbank's entire communication infrastructure. It is recognized as the first in the financial and banking sector to establish a disaster recovery center compliant with State Bank of Vietnam and international regulations. The center adheres to TIA 942 standards and has achieved Tier 3 certification, ensuring a synchronized infrastructure from networking to servers and data storage. APC provided a modular, scalable, and upgradeable disaster recovery solution to guarantee business continuity, enabling rapid incident resolution and real-time data recovery. The APC solution includes UPS, cooling systems, high-density racks, and management software, featuring advanced solutions like in-row cooling and centralized management. The "Information Backup" center also emphasizes energy efficiency, reducing operational costs and environmental impact, making it a "green" data center by optimizing energy consumption.
