Cloverleaf Infrastructure has announced an ambitious project to develop a massive 1,000-acre data center campus in Port Washington, Wisconsin. This project, located north of the town in Ozaukee County, is bordered by I-43 to the west, Lake Drive to the east, Dixie Road to the north, and the Ozaukee Interurban Trail. The development will include multiple structures, potentially up to three stories high, and at least one substation to support the site's energy needs.
The project is expected to span five to eight years, with the first phase potentially completed within three years. Construction is anticipated to begin in the Fall of 2025. Cloverleaf has secured options on numerous properties in the area and is negotiating further acquisitions. The land, currently under the jurisdiction of the town of Port Washington, would need to be annexed into the city for the development to proceed.
Port Washington is strategically situated on the western shore of Lake Michigan, just north of Milwaukee, making it an attractive location for large-scale infrastructure projects. This development is expected to bring significant economic growth and job opportunities to the region.
