Dane County Data Exchange

A new data center project is underway in Dane County, Wisconsin, led by Dane County Data Exchange (DCDE). The site spans 14 acres and is positioned near 60MW of medium-voltage power, making it suitable for high-density AI workloads.

Plans include a facility of up to 150,000 square feet, with rack densities reaching 100kW to 300kW. The design supports direct-to-chip cooling and is optimized for next-gen architectures like NVIDIA Blackwell. Power purchase agreements are in place for scalable delivery at 20MW, 40MW, and 60MW levels.

The facility features fortified concrete construction for hurricane-level protection, along with secure access zones and carrier connectivity for both short- and long-haul traffic. DCDE aims to serve enterprise and hyperscale clients seeking resilient, high-performance infrastructure in the Wisconsin market.
