Atlas Agro Richland Campus

Atlas Agro, a Swiss firm founded in 2021 and specializing in low-carbon nitrogen fertilizers, is proposing a significant data center development in Richland, Washington. The company plans to acquire approximately 275 acres of land at 2100 Horn Rapids Road within the Northwest Advanced Clean Energy Park.

This ambitious project involves the development of five data center buildings, each projected to be 500,000 square feet. Atlas Agro intends to invest $500 million in this data center campus, with construction anticipated to commence in 2027. The data center development is situated adjacent to the company's $1.1 billion Atlas Agro Pacific Green Fertilizer plant, which is also under development and aims to launch operations in the same year. Atlas Agro utilizes green hydrogen and green ammonia, powered by renewable energy, for its fertilizer production process.
