MD-DC2 is Menlo Digital’s flagship hyperscale data center campus in Sterling, Virginia, set across 32.2 acres in Loudoun County. Acquired in June 2024, the site is being transformed into a four-story, 600,742 square foot facility with 144MW of secured power from a dedicated 300MW on-site substation. Power availability is scheduled for Q2 2028, with a powered shell delivery planned for Q3 2028.

The project reflects Menlo Digital’s focus on long-term capacity and strategic proximity to major fiber routes and connectivity hubs near Dulles International Airport. Designed to accommodate energy-intensive AI workloads and enterprise infrastructure, MD-DC2 will support advanced deployment requirements through flexible design and future-ready power provisioning.

As with other Virginia-based developments, MD-DC2 qualifies for the state’s data center tax exemptions, including incentives tied to investment levels and job creation. This campus strengthens Menlo Digital’s position within one of the most competitive and well-connected data center markets in the U.S.
