The QTS Richmond 1 campus, located in Sandston, Virginia, is the largest and most connected data center campus in the Richmond area, spanning over 207 acres. This master-planned facility is designed to accommodate six buildings, offering a total of 2.3 million square feet of space. The campus boasts a significant power capacity of 238 MW and is noted for its energy efficiency, achieving LEED Gold certification. It features an on-site solar panel power system and dedicated electric vehicle charging stations. Strategically positioned, the Richmond 1 campus is near an undersea cable landing station, enhancing its connectivity. The campus includes multiple buildings, such as DC1, DC2, and DC3 at 6000 Technology Blvd, and DC4, DC5, and DC6 located on Portugee Road.
