Volterra Advisors is exploring the development of a data center at 701 S 6th Ave in Hopewell, Virginia, a former ethanol plant site located approximately 20 miles south of Richmond. The proposed facility is projected to have a capacity of 20MW and span between 50,000 to 70,000 sq ft. The site, previously operated by Green Plains Inc. and acquired by NS Development Partners, offers potential for infrastructure reuse, including natural gas lines. Volterra Advisors, a data center advisory firm founded by former CloudHQ VP Jeramy Utara, is leading the project.
