GDC - VA10 Data Center

The VA10 Data Center is the first facility on NTT DATA’s new 336MW hyperscale campus in Gainesville, Virginia, marking a major expansion in the Northern Virginia data center market. Designed for high-density and hyperscale deployments, VA10 offers 84MW of critical IT load across 295,680 square feet of data floor space, divided into 14 vaults.

The two-story building features Class A office space, conference rooms, hoteling stations, and secure parking, providing a premium experience for clients. Its cooling infrastructure includes air-cooled chillers with airside economizers, fan coil wall cooling with hot aisle containment, and a closed-loop water cooling system for enhanced efficiency.

Power is delivered via four feeders with N+1 block redundancy and dual-corded distribution, supporting up to 20kW per rack. Backup generators with on-site fuel storage ensure 24-hour runtime at full load, with continuous fuel delivery available 24/7.

Security is robust, with six layers of physical protection, multi-factor authentication, and 100+ real-time surveillance feeds using Avigilon’s 360-degree pattern-based alert system. The site also includes secure managed delivery zones and centralized access control.

Connectivity is carrier-neutral, with three diverse fiber entry points, two Meet-Me Rooms, and access to a dense network of global and regional carriers, ISPs, and cloud providers.

VA10 is built to LEED standards, holds certifications including SOC1 & SOC2 Type II, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, NIST 800-53 High, and HIPAA, and is located just 23 minutes from Dulles International Airport, making it a strategic choice for enterprises seeking scalable, secure, and sustainable infrastructure
