Forest Lane Data Center

A new data center development known as Forest Lane Data Center has been proposed for Stafford County, Virginia. The project would rezone approximately 850 acres from agricultural and light industrial use to heavy industrial, supporting large-scale digital infrastructure. The site lies in the George Washington Election District near Kings Highway and Forest Lane and marks the 16th active data center application in the county’s expanding pipeline.

Real Estate Pursuits 2 LC is the applicant behind the proposal, though little is known about the company at this time. The initiative follows recent changes in local tax policy that have made Stafford County more attractive to data center developers. The county has already drawn interest from major players such as Stack, which is planning a separate 1GW deployment nearby.

If approved, Forest Lane Data Center could play a key role in shifting the region’s profile from low activity to a viable growth corridor for hyperscale infrastructure.
