Leesburg Gateway DC3

The Leesburg Gateway Campus, developed by Peterson Companies, is a planned data center project located in Leesburg, Virginia. The development aims to provide significant benefits to the town, its businesses, and residents. It is projected to generate nearly $17 million in annual tax revenue for Leesburg. The project includes the dedication of a new 22-acre public park and the construction of state-of-the-art commercial buildings. A key aspect of the design is the preservation of over 13 acres of mature trees, with a 250-foot setback to conceal the data center buildings from perimeter roads. The campus is intended to create commercial and community opportunities, replacing underutilized retail space with flexible buildings designed to foster innovation. The development is situated on over 100 acres and may include up to seven buildings, with three two-story data centers totaling 600,000 sq ft and four industrial buildings spanning 275,000 sq ft.
