JK Land Holdings' Greenlin Park data center project in Leesburg, Virginia, has been approved by Loudoun County's Board of Supervisors. The project, located along State Route 267 (VA-267), will encompass 1.4 million sq ft of data center and utility substation space. Originally proposed at 2.1 million sq ft, the scope was reduced following community feedback regarding size, environmental impact, and utility costs. The revised plan limits building heights to 55 feet and restricts power demand to 300MW for five years. JK Land Holdings has also committed to using upgraded generator technology, implementing additional screening and noise limitations, and mitigating stormwater discharge. The approved project allows for three concept plans, each with the same total square footage but varying numbers of buildings (two, three, or four).
