Bitzero Blockchain Inc.

The Stratos Hyperscale Campus, proposed by Bitzero Blockchain Inc. and backed by Kevin O'Leary, is a massive data center development planned for Snowville, Utah. The project, located on approximately 41,200 acres, aims for a potential capacity of up to 9GW of power. Phase one alone is slated to develop 3GW of generation capacity.

Powering the facility will be onsite natural gas generation, with a direct connection to the Ruby interstate natural gas pipeline. This setup is intended to ensure the data center does not draw power from the existing grid and could potentially supply surplus energy in the future. The development is being positioned as a strategic move to meet the growing demands of AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC), with O'Leary emphasizing its importance in a global race for technological advancement.

The project has received approval from Utah's Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA) but requires further approvals from Box Elder County. Concerns have been raised by local officials and residents regarding the project's scope, potential environmental impacts, and the significant tax incentives offered, including reduced energy use tax and property tax rebates.
