Rowan Digital Infrastructure

Rowan Digital Infrastructure’s Project Cinco is a 300MW hyperscale data center campus under development in Medina County, Texas, just outside San Antonio. Spanning 440 acres, the site is designed to support the long-term needs of a top five U.S. technology company, with an initial 60MW of capacity expected to be available by Q4 2025. The project represents a minimum $900 million investment and is positioned to deliver power at rates up to 35% lower than comparable industrial sites in the region.

Cinco will feature multiple buildings with flexible layouts, scalable infrastructure, and access to AEP’s utility grid. The campus is engineered for high-density computing and future AI workloads, with a focus on sustainability, transparency, and community engagement. Local leaders have praised Rowan’s collaborative approach, and the project has received unanimous approval from both the Lytle City Council and Medina County Commissioners’ Court.

Once operational in 2027, Cinco is expected to create approximately 600 construction jobs and over 40 permanent positions. It marks a major milestone for Rowan, expanding its footprint to over 1GW of contracted capacity across the U.S. and reinforcing its role as a developer of next-generation digital infrastructure.
