Microsoft has recently filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for the development of two new data centers, SAT93 and SAT94, along County Road 381 in Medina. Each of these single-story facilities will span 245,000 square feet (22,760 square meters) and will see an investment of $350 million per building. The construction for both data centers is scheduled to commence in May 2025 and is expected to be completed by June 2027.
These new data centers will further expand Microsoft's presence in the San Antonio area, where the company already has a significant footprint with multiple data centers and a large campus.
