Microsoft is planning a new data center campus in Castroville, near San Antonio, Texas. The project will include two single-story data center buildings, SAT89 and SAT90, spanning a total of 489,400 square feet. With an estimated investment of $765 million, construction is set to begin in June 2025 and is expected to be completed by July 2027. Designed by engineering firm WSP, this campus will expand Microsoft's presence in the South Central US Azure region, complementing its existing facilities in the area.
