Amp Z

Amp Z is developing a significant data center campus in Lufkin, Texas, located in Angelina County. The project, situated on approximately 1,041 acres at the former Southland Paper Mill site, is planned to reach a total capacity of 2.1GW. The site currently has a 55MW grid connection, with plans to expand to 175MW by 2026 and 1.1GW by 2028. Additionally, Amp Z aims to incorporate 1GW of self-generation capacity by 2029. The campus is expandable to 4,000 acres. This development represents a substantial investment in the region, with the potential for significant economic impact. Amp Z focuses on developing gigawatt-scale data center campuses, offering both turnkey and multi-tenant facilities with grid and on-site power solutions.
