The Crusoe Port of Victoria Campus, located within Port of Victoria, Texas, is a planned 1,600-acre facility designed to support a gigawatt-scale AI factory. Crusoe Cloud has partnered with Blue Energy to supply power, with an initial phase utilizing natural gas generation expected to be operational as early as 2028. This will transition to nuclear power by 2031, providing up to 1.5GW of carbon-free baseload energy. The campus was selected for its strategic location, existing infrastructure, and access to energy resources, including a major natural gas pipeline system and proximity to transmission lines and fiber-optic networks. Blue Energy specializes in modular nuclear power plant design, focusing on deploying mature light-water reactors with enhanced safety features. This project aims for speed to market, leveraging a natural gas bridge to a sustainable, large-scale nuclear power solution for AI infrastructure.
