Project Horizon is a 2 GW AI campus located in Fort Stockton, Texas, developed by Poolside AI. This initiative aims to provide dedicated infrastructure for the next generation of frontier-scale AI training and model development.
The campus is situated on 568 acres and will be developed in eight 250 MW phases. It is designed for vertical integration, offering control over power, cost, and scale. Project Horizon utilizes a hybrid modular construction model for accelerated deployment. Major components are manufactured off-site and delivered fully integrated. The electrical and cooling architecture is engineered for incremental load, allowing new capacity to become operational as modular data halls are placed and connected.
Poolside AI has partnered with CoreWeave, which will serve as an anchor tenant for the first 250 MW phase under a 15-year lease, with 500 MW reserved for future expansion. In the interim, CoreWeave is providing Poolside with a cluster of over 40,000 NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 GPUs.
