Wowrack

Rack Asset Realty, led by Wowrack founder Erward Osckar, is renovating a former T-Mobile switch site in Dallas, Texas into a 20,000 sq ft data center. The site, originally built in 1956 and equipped with 1MW of generator capacity, was previously used by Sprint before T-Mobile’s acquisition. This redevelopment, valued at $1.4 million, is scheduled to run from September 2025 to September 2026.

Once complete, the upgraded facility will support colocation and managed services aligned with Wowrack’s operational model, which already includes offerings in Seattle and Indonesia. The project repurposes legacy telecom infrastructure into modern white space, reflecting an emerging trend of sustainable redevelopment in the data center industry.
