Construction began in 2022, and as of April 2024, the facility became operational with an initial 400 megawatts (MW)—all deployed using immersion-cooling technology, which enhances efficiency and hardware longevity in high-density mining environments.

By February 2025, the Corsicana campus reached a hash rate of 15.7 EH/s and supported 165 full-time local employees, reflecting Riot's broader impact on rural economic growth. The company anticipates scaling to 36 EH/s across its network by the end of 2024, positioning Corsicana as a central node in its U.S. mining operations.

This initiative underscores Riot’s vertically integrated strategy: combining mining hardware, site development, energy procurement, and substation management under one roof. The facility taps into Riot’s long-term energy relationships and continues their pattern of building at grid-edge locations where power availability and scalability align with industrial-scale mining.
