Project Labrador is a proposed large‑scale data center development in the Lancaster area of Dallas, Texas, led by WHL Dallas 45 LLC. Planned for a 419‑acre site at 1401 Greene Road, the project would feature five two‑story data center buildings and four substations, delivering around 1.07 million sq ft (≈99,400 m²) of technical space. Designed to support several hundred megawatts of IT load, the facility is part of a broader dual‑site plan alongside the adjacent “Project Orange,” with both developments together spanning more than 530 acres and potentially totaling 13 buildings.
The Lancaster Planning and Zoning Commission has already recommended approval for earlier site plans, and the City Council has approved zoning changes to enable the project. While the initial approved layout included two data centers and one substation, the current vision significantly expands capacity. The build‑out is expected to proceed in phases, with potential operations commencing before the end of the decade, and full completion possible by 2030.
This is a campus listing, that covers multiple data centers.
