PowerHouse Data Centers, in partnership with Provident, is developing a significant data center campus located in Texas, within the Dallas-Fort Worth market. This expansive project spans 768 acres and is designed to accommodate a total capacity of 1.8GW, featuring 24 buildings across three development phases.
The initial phase includes a 500MW tranche that has already received approval through ERCOT. The first building on the campus is scheduled to be energized in May 2026. This joint venture between PowerHouse and Provident aims to provide hyperscale users with rapid market entry, combining resources and expertise to meet stringent requirements.
The campus is situated just outside Grand Prairie in northern Ellis County. Provident, the data center arm of Dallas-based Provident, offers comprehensive development services, including site selection, power procurement, and infrastructure design. This project represents PowerHouse's second Texas development, following a previously announced 200MW project in Irving.
