Edged Energy is expanding its Dallas campus in Irving, Texas, with the addition of a second data center, DFW01-2. This new facility will contribute 24MW of capacity to the site, located on North Wildwood Drive. A key feature of DFW01-2 is its closed-loop, waterless cooling system developed by Edged's sister company, ThermalWorks. This advanced cooling technology is designed to support rack densities exceeding 120kW with air cooling and up to 400kW with plug-and-play liquid cooling. Edged anticipates breaking ground on this expansion in Q2 2026. The company highlights the importance of efficiency and rapid deployment for AI infrastructure, emphasizing that this expansion will provide high-density capacity while operating with industry-leading energy efficiency and without water consumption. The project has received unanimous approval from the Irving City Council.
