The CleanArc Dallas project, located in the Stemmons Corridor of Dallas, Texas, has evolved into one of the most ambitious data center developments in the region. Originally announced as a 40‑acre campus with a planned capacity of 245MW, the project is now confirmed to be situated at the Dallas Market Center site. Crow Holdings, the longtime owner of the property, is partnering with CleanArc Data Centers to redevelop the historic Market Hall into a five‑story hyperscale facility. The first phase of the development, delivering 70MW of capacity, is expected to come online by late 2027, supported by a dedicated on‑site substation to ensure resilient power infrastructure.

This redevelopment marks a significant transformation of a landmark venue. Market Hall, opened in 1960 and long known for hosting concerts, exhibitions, and trade shows, will be replaced as part of Crow Holdings’ broader digital infrastructure strategy. The Dallas Market Center, a five‑million‑square‑foot wholesale trade hub dating back to the mid‑1950s, has already ceased booking future events at Market Hall, signaling the shift toward technology‑driven use of the site. The new campus is strategically positioned to serve hyperscale and AI workloads, offering scalability and connectivity that align with the growing demand for digital infrastructure in Dallas and beyond.

CleanArc, founded in 2024 by Jim Trout with backing from 547 Energy and later majority investment from Snowhawk, is focused on developing hyperscale campuses of 300MW or more across the U.S. The Dallas Market Center project joins CleanArc’s pipeline alongside developments in Virginia, Austin, Chicago, and Atlanta. Crow Holdings, with $34 billion in assets under management and a legacy in multifamily and industrial real estate, is leveraging its deep market knowledge to expand into digital infrastructure. Together, the two firms are positioning the Dallas campus not only as a replacement for a historic venue but as a cornerstone of a national strategy to deliver more than 3GW of data center capacity across key U.S. markets.
