Project Comal - Bldg 4

Project Comal, developed by KDC, is a significant data center project situated in Taylor, Texas, approximately 35 miles northeast of Austin. The facility will occupy a 220-acre site at 1051 County Road 401, adjacent to a planned Samsung semiconductor manufacturing plant. The development is slated to offer a substantial 360MW of capacity and will comprise six data center buildings and two substations. Energy for the facility will be supplied by Texas electric utility Oncor. KDC anticipates that the construction phase, estimated to last three and a half years, will generate up to 3,000 construction jobs. This project represents KDC's expansion into the data center sector, a market experiencing considerable growth.
