QTS Hall County Campus

QTS Data Centers, owned by Blackstone, is developing a significant data center campus in Hall County, near Turkey, Texas, in collaboration with Lancium. This expansive campus is planned to accommodate up to 11 data center buildings across approximately 465 acres. The project represents a substantial capital investment of over US$10 billion in the region. QTS will be responsible for the design, construction, and operation of the data center facilities, while Lancium will provide the necessary electrical and civil infrastructure. Lancium also plans to integrate its own power generation, including battery storage and solar resources, to support the campus. A key feature of the QTS Hall County Campus will be its closed-loop cooling system, designed to minimize the impact on local water supplies. Water will be sourced from on-site wells or approved external sources, explicitly avoiding the municipal water supply of Turkey. The development is expected to create up to 7,000 jobs during peak construction and around 350 permanent positions upon completion.
