Project Dorothy 2 is a 48 MW expansion adjacent to Soluna's Dorothy 1 facility, located in Silverton, Texas. This expansion significantly deepens Soluna's presence in West Texas, scaling up its clean-powered Bitcoin hosting operations. It also enhances Soluna's capability to absorb intermittent wind energy, contributing to a more sustainable energy grid. The project continues the legacy of Dorothy Vaughan, symbolizing progress and the development of inclusive systems.  Beyond Bitcoin hosting, Project Dorothy 2 is also being utilized for advanced AI cloud services, including the provision of compute for AI video processing workloads, such as 64 Nvidia H100 GPUs, through Soluna's agreement with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and its HPE GreenLake infrastructure. This dual-purpose facility underscores Soluna's commitment to both cryptocurrency and the burgeoning AI ecosystem, leveraging sustainable energy sources for high-performance computing.
