Duos Edge AI, Inc., a subsidiary of Nasdaq-listed Duos Technologies Group, Inc., has deployed a new containerized Edge data center in Abilene, Texas. Located at the Region 14 Education Service Center (ESC) building, this facility is set to become fully operational in early 2026.
The Abilene EDC will function as a local, carrier-neutral colocation facility. It is designed to deliver essential services including bandwidth, data processing, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities. These services will benefit over 40 school districts and charter schools within an 11-county region, covering more than 13,000 square miles. The deployment aims to empower educators and communities with advanced digital tools and foster innovation and economic growth in a region that has historically faced connectivity challenges.
