Nebius Highridge DC2

Nebius is developing the Highridge Campus, a significant AI data center facility located in Butler Township, Pennsylvania, within Schuylkill County’s Highridge Business Park. This purpose-built campus, spanning approximately 600 acres, is fully owned and operated by Nebius. Upon full buildout, it is projected to deliver 1.2 GW of capacity. The initial phase is anticipated to be operational by October 2027, with an expected 260 MW. Future expansions aim for 660 MW by 2029 and over 1 GW thereafter. The campus will feature six single-story buildings and is strategically situated at the intersection of Interstate 81 and Gordon Mountain Road. Nebius has secured a dedicated energy service agreement with PPL Electric Utilities for reliable, high-capacity power, ensuring no impact on residential electricity rates. The facility will incorporate both air- and liquid-cooling technologies, utilizing closed-loop systems to minimize water consumption. A Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) will provide approximately 30 minutes of backup power. The project emphasizes community engagement, including STEM education initiatives and support for local economic development and first responders.
