Chirisa

Chirisa Technology Parks (CTP) has acquired a vacant property in Freeport, Pennsylvania, from BNY Mellon for $5.5 million. The site, located at 182 Northpointe Boulevard, includes a 71,000-square-foot data center facility and a 44,255-square-foot office building. Originally built in 2006, the data center was one of the first to receive an Energy Star certification in 2012.

CTP plans to redevelop the site into a state-of-the-art data center campus with a capacity of up to 100MW. The development is set to begin in early 2025, with an estimated completion timeline of 18 to 24 months. The upgraded facility will cater to hyperscale customers, focusing on high-density HPC and AI workloads.

Strategically located between Chirisa's existing campuses in Virginia and Illinois, the Freeport site benefits from abundant power and connectivity. This project aligns with Chirisa's commitment to rapidly delivering large-scale, sustainable data center solutions for its clients.
