Project Laurel Campus is a proposed 1.4 million square foot data center development situated on 192 acres in Limerick Township, Pennsylvania, approximately 37 miles northwest of Philadelphia. The campus, located near the Limerick Generation Station nuclear power plant, is planned to comprise eight buildings: five of 154,000 sq ft each and three of 202,000 sq ft each. The project has reportedly secured 750MW of power capacity from local utility PECO. Full build-out is anticipated to take up to five years. MCD 7 LLC is the entity behind the proposal, which has been in development since at least last year, with the township adopting a data center ordinance for the property in 2024. An end-user is reportedly secured, though their identity remains confidential due to non-disclosure agreements. The site is bounded by Sanatoga Road, Evergreen Road, Possum Hollow Road, and Lightcap Road.
