The facility is slated to span 146,000 square feet (13,565 sqm) and will include an on-site substation. The company has secured planning permission for the site, which was previously designated for industrial development as the Allentown Flex Center. Construction is anticipated to commence in early 2027, with the facility launching in the same year. J.G. Petrucci, founded in 1987, is a developer, owner, and manager of commercial, industrial, and residential properties across the Northeast US, with a portfolio exceeding 7 million sq ft. The company is reportedly in discussions with a potential end user for this project. This development is part of a growing data center market in Pennsylvania, which has seen significant expansion in recent years.
