The facility is situated on 8 acres of leased land with an option to lease an additional 10 acres, and the existing 27,600 square foot building is connected to 3.75 megawatts of power. DMG is in discussions with the local utility for power expansion, supporting its long-term data center growth strategy. Boardman is recognized as a significant data center hub, hosting multiple large-scale Amazon Web Services (AWS) facilities. DMG plans to retrofit the existing building or construct new HPC facilities on the site. While initial operations may include limited Bitcoin mining, the primary focus is on developing a major HPC data center to serve the enterprise market.
