Cherokee Data Center is a 430,000-square-foot facility located in Cherokee Industrial Park, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Originally leased by HP from BNP Paribas, the company later acquired the site outright. The data center plays a crucial role in cloud storage and data services, supporting industries such as air travel, including tracking, ticketing, reservations, and weather systems.

The facility was constructed in 2001, with much of the building underground, enhancing security and resilience. It is designed to withstand extreme conditions, ensuring uninterrupted operations. The site employs 800 HP staff, contributing to Tulsa’s tech industry and local economy.

In September 2009, EDS began going to market as HP Enterprise Services, a name change which came one year after HP announced the acquisition of EDS
