Strata Expanse

Strata Expanse, in partnership with RAVEL and Supermicro, has launched its first AI Center of Excellence (COE) in Ohio, located at 1476 County Rd 1A in Ironton. This facility marks the beginning of a 30-site national rollout of "Land-to-Hand" AI Infrastructure, built on the "Gray-Space-as-a-Service" model.

The COE serves as an innovation and validation hub, providing enterprises, public-sector partners, and research organizations with turnkey environments to test, optimize, and scale AI workloads. Strata Expanse's model transforms land and power assets into scalable, high-performance compute environments. Supermicro provides the compute backbone with high-density AI systems, including liquid-cooled and air-cooled clusters. RAVEL delivers the intelligence layer through its Orchestrate AI platform for multi-vendor orchestration and workload automation.

This initiative aims to deliver modular, rapidly deployable AI "Factory-in-a-Box" architectures, enabling organizations to trial, validate, and scale various AI workloads efficiently and resiliently.
