Aligned Data Centers has acquired a portion of the Conesville Industrial Park in Coshocton County, Ohio, for a potential data center development.
The site was previously home to a 2GW coal power plant operated by American Electric Power, which shut down in 2020. The Frontier Group of Companies later redeveloped the land into a 2,500-acre industrial park, with at least one 200-acre parcel previously marked for data center use.
Aligned has not disclosed specific plans for the site, but this would be its third property in Ohio, following developments in Perkins Township (Sandusky) and Pataskala.
