Karis Critical has acquired a 115-acre site in New Albany, Ohio, located at 4500 Beech Road NW along Route 62, for the development of a new data center campus. The land, comprising seven parcels, was rezoned and annexed in July 2025, paving the way for infrastructure deployment.
While specific design and capacity details have not yet been disclosed, the site is positioned within one of the most active data center corridors in the U.S. — just outside Columbus — where hyperscale operators like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Meta, and others maintain large-scale facilities.
This project aligns with Karis Critical’s model of investing in land, energy, and infrastructure for data centers without operating them directly. The New Albany site adds to their growing footprint, which includes over 1,600 acres across Ohio and multiple developments in Illinois, Colorado, and South Carolina.
