Cervenka Development Partners is exploring the development of a new data center in Amherst, Ohio. The proposed site is located at 100-300 Nordson Drive, encompassing a 36.58-acre parcel. The firm has submitted a request for a use variance, a zoning exception, to allow for data center operations on land currently zoned for industrial use. This request is scheduled for consideration by the City of Amherst Zoning Board of Appeals on July 29, 2026.

The identified properties at 100, 200, and 300 Nordson Drive are currently listed for sale. One of the parcels is occupied by Nordson Industrial Cooling Systems, while the other two appear to be vacant. A spokesperson for Cervenka Development Partners has stated that no sale has been finalized and the zoning request is part of the company's due diligence process.

Amherst is situated in northern Ohio, approximately 28 miles west of Cleveland. Publicly available data indicates no existing data centers in the immediate Amherst area.
