Prologis Trenton Industrial Park

Prologis has acquired a 141-acre plot of land in Trenton, Ohio, for $7.7 million, with plans to develop a significant data center. Located in the Trenton Industrial Park off Woodsdale Road, approximately 30 miles north of downtown Cincinnati, the site is slated for a data center measuring 1 million square feet (92,903 sqm).

Prologis, a major player in logistics and industrial real estate, has been actively expanding its presence in the data center sector. This acquisition of a greenfield site aligns with the company's strategy of developing data centers on both existing landholdings and newly acquired properties.

The company has a substantial pipeline of data center power, with 1.4GW secured and further capacity in procurement and planning stages. Prologis has existing and planned developments across the US and in Paris, France.

While Cincinnati is not considered a primary data center market, it does host several established providers, indicating a growing demand in the region.
