Bitdeer Massillon

Bitdeer Technologies Group is developing a 221 MW data center in Massillon, Ohio. Construction has encountered delays due to transformer delivery issues, labor shortages, and weather conditions. An on-site fire in November 2025 further impacted the timeline. The company anticipates phased operational readiness, with partial energization of 21 MW expected by late October 2025, and the remaining 200 MW to be energized in phases through early 2026. The full site is projected to be operational by the end of the first quarter of 2026. Bitdeer, a Singapore-based company specializing in cryptocurrency mining and AI solutions, has other facilities globally.
