The Kingsboro NetZero Campus in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, is a proposed data center project focused on green energy. It will feature a 300MW ac/1200MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and utilize cogeneration and a "carbon sponge" system designed to capture 130% of CO2 emissions. The project includes four 25MW ac AI Data Centers and four 50MW ac Mobile Data Centers, all powered by a behind-the-meter natural gas "green" generation system with energy storage. The site is located off Kingsboro Road in Edgecombe County, within the PJM and Edgecombe-Martin Electric Coop service area. It benefits from proximity to a natural gas transmission line and a dark fiber line on Hwy 64 (Future I-87). Dominion Power's 115kV transmission lines are nearby, and a substation is planned on-site. The campus is designed to be EMP hardened according to National Defense, DOD, and DOE guidelines.
This is a campus listing, that covers multiple data centers.
