Microsoft Boyd Farms (CLT14) is a planned data center facility located in Maiden, North Carolina, on a 294.73-acre site. This facility is part of the larger Microsoft Boyd Farm Campus, which is under construction and aims to enhance Microsoft's cloud infrastructure capacity and support its North Carolina Regional Network Gateway (RNG).
The campus will feature five planned data center buildings: CLT10, CLT11, CLT12, CLT13, and CLT14. Each of these facilities is designed to accommodate up to 48MW of power capacity. The development prioritizes environmental considerations, with construction focused on approximately 80 acres of the total site, preserving significant open space and minimizing impacts on the 100-year floodplain and stream channels.
