The Fayetteville NetZero Campus, located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, is a proposed large-scale data center project focused on sustainable energy. It will feature a significant 300MW ac/1200MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) as its core energy support. This NetZero "green energy" initiative will employ a cogeneration and "carbon sponge" clean energy system designed to capture 130% of CO2 and other emissions for "green sequestration".
The project will generate its energy behind the meter using a natural gas "green" generation system, with stored energy managed by the BESS. The site has access to a large natural gas transmission line and is within the service area of PWC and Duke Energy, with 115kV and 230kV transmission lines adjoining the property. Fiber connectivity is also readily available.
The campus will include four 25MW ac AI Data Centers and four 50MW ac Mobile Data Centers. The project is expected to create 500 local jobs and generate significant tax revenues. The Data and Energy Storage System will be "EMP Harden" to meet National Defense, DOD, and DOE guidelines.
This is a campus listing, that covers multiple data centers.
