Riverview Innovation & Technology Campus

The Riverview Innovation and Technology Campus (RITC) in Tonawanda, New York, is slated for a significant data center development. Located at 3800-3875 River Road, this 140-acre site was formerly the Tonawanda Coke Corp. plant, which operated for decades. Developers acquired the site in 2019 and are pursuing plans for a 300MW, 500,000 sq ft data center. Environmental remediation is underway, with potential for data center construction to commence late this year and conclude by the end of 2027. The project, a collaboration with an unnamed data center developer, could see an investment of up to $2 billion. The development aims to repurpose the industrial site, located in the Buffalo market.
