This innovative facility is a prime example of the energy transition, utilizing 91% zero-carbon energy, primarily hydro. The campus is situated at a former coal power plant site in Western New York, repurposing existing power infrastructure to support high-tech operations.
Once complete, Lake Mariner Data will reach over 500 MW of demand, making it a significant player in the digital infrastructure landscape. The project not only contributes to environmental sustainability but also creates over 200 local jobs, retraining and employing workers displaced by New York's transition away from fossil fuels.
