Stack Infrastructure is partnering with BorderPlex Digital Assets on Project Jupiter, a massive data center campus planned for Doña Ana County, New Mexico. The site will be located near Pete Domenici Highway and NM Highway 136, close to the U.S.–Mexico border.
The project includes up to four buildings in its initial phase, with operations expected to begin before the end of 2026. A key feature is its dedicated on-site microgrid, designed to power the campus independently from the regional grid. This setup will include local power generation and battery energy storage, alongside a closed-loop cooling system to reduce water consumption.
The broader development plan envisions up to $165 billion in long-term investment, combining compute, fiber, power, water, and industrial cooling into a unified “Growth Infrastructure Campus.” The initiative emphasizes community-first development, aiming to create permanent local jobs and improve regional infrastructure.
