NetDC EWR1 Data Center

Net Data Centers EWR1 data center, our newest location, is located in Piscataway, New Jersey. Located near the Newark Liberty International Airport, EWR1 is anticipated to be one of the largest, most sophisticated and efficient data centers available in the Greater Metro New York Area. Designed to LEED standards, the facility will be built in two identical Phases, each comprising 18.2 MW of critical load. Phase I is expected to be delivered in fourth quarter 2010. The facility has multiple major fiber carriers on site and will benefit from the area's most competitive power rates.

Facility Specifications:

Building Area: 360,000 square feet
Access: Staffed 24/7 keycard access and dual authentication with biometric readers ballistic glass enclosed security check-in, front window areas and loading dock security fence surrounds entire land area/building with guard house CCTV 24/7 camera surveillance of interior and exterior of the facility
Flooring: Raised floor area is 176,200 square feet 42" under raised floor plenums raised floor to ceiling height is 15-22 feet
HVAC: 16 centrifugal chillers with 1,080 ton capacity each two 500,000 gallon above ground chilled water storage tanks, N+2 redundancy
Fire Suppression: Conventional smoke detector and laser based incipient smoke detection systems and double interlocked pre-action sprinkler system
Power: 36.4 MW of critical power 32 Rotary power systems with 1,300 kW of critical output each (N+2 redundancy) 32 diesel-powered emergency generators with 2,250 kW capacity (N+2 redundancy) dual input 300 kVA PDU's - 600 volt primary
Loading Dock: Four (4) secured loading bays
