Location
The Cedar Knolls data center is a single floor, single occupant, purpose-built facility located in a suburban office park roughly 40 minutes from Manhattan
and 30 minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport. The data center is conveniently located near Routes 10, 24, 80 & 287 making it easily accessible
by car and bus the data center is also roughly a mile from the Morris Plains train station which offers Midtown Direct train service. Facility amenities
include office suites, conference facilities, server build areas, restrooms with showers and a kitchen with vending machines.
Power Density
With the high density areas able to accomodate power densities of 20 kW (167 amps @ 120v) per cabinet, the Cedar Knolls Data Center is one of the highest
density facilities in the region. This ultra-high density allows customers to expand their environment without having to expand their footprint. Most
importantly unlike data centers with a density ceiling of 4 kW (34 amps @ 120v) per cabinet at Net Access you can fully utilize a cabinet.
Power Systems
N+1 power system comprised of Eaton-PowerWare UPS systems with individual battery validation systems backed by diesel generators. The power
system is capable of delivering a variety of power circuits including single pole (120v) double pole (208v) and triple pole or three-phase configurations.
The facility employs a metered billing method whereby customers pay only for what they actually use rather than typical flat rate, or per circuit, pricing.
